I am taking my son up to the Shriner's hospital on the 15th of this month. We are taking a shuttle up there (leaving the local Shriner's temple at 4:30am. Am I allowed to carry on the shuttle? What about at the Shriner's hospital?

I am not a Shriner, but my father is one in a different state. Check the TN Shriners website for which ever Shrine temple you are using. They might have something on there about firearms policies etc... If they don't have an advertised policy about it on their shuttle you would probably be fine however you could find yourself in a mess once you get to the hospital if it is posted. On a side note, good for you for utlizing the Shriners services. Those guys take great pride in providing healthcare for children. Whatever your son is having done, I truly wish him the best.

thanks. My wife's grandfather was a shriner and 32nd degree Mason. My 2 yr old son is going to have his feet looked at. His feet turn in a little. It doesn't bother him much when he walks, but when he starts running he trips on them. It is a little funny to watch, but his legs are all bruised up from falling. It looks like we hit his legs all of the time, but it is b/c he is kicking them when he tries to run.
