M&P Question - 1.0 w/ Apex Kit v. 2.0

Hi all-

I have a stock M&P 1.0. I have not shot a 2.0.

Can anyone compare the Duty/Carry Action Enhancement kit in a 1.0  (smoothness, less over travel, improved reset) with the stock trigger in a 2.0? Comparable? Is one or the other a clear winner?

Thanks.

To elaborate,  the 2.0 is better out of the box than the 1.0.  I have Apexed about 10 of them for myself and others to include the compacts.  It is not necessary, but certainly helpful as are Ameriglo front sights.  I recently bought the Competitor, sold it after a couple of weeks; just could not compare with my Apexed 1.0 with Comp trigger and match barrel.  I would say you get what you pay for but the Competitor is way over priced IMO.  I still have several stock M&P of several flavors that work just fine....but my 'game guns' are juiced a little.

I am selling an M&P9 1.0 with the Apex kit. @mdlave if you want to buy it and compare side by side, let me know! I have a bunch of mags, too. If you just want those, I’m down to sell

My wife’s 1.0 was her IDPA toy, and she had me put an Apex duty/carry kit in it. I did and several years later we picked up a 2.0, which has a tac-light/laser and no mods at all because it’s her nightstand gun. Both are very shootable, but I would give a slight nod to the 1.0/Apex trigger, just a little cleaner.

The Apex is going to be a better trigger. Have had all three

HOWEVER, if it is going to be a edc. my preference is to stay with the stock trigger. Others may not see this as a legal problem.

I don’t say it will be always a problem. But could be a area an attorney uses against you in a lawsuit after a defensive incident
