Paddle fish

The local news reported a record 147 pound paddle fish was caught on Cherokee Lake a state record      Cherokee is a huge lake covering 4 counties and 57 miles news stated

I read this is not just a paddle fish record, but the biggest fish ever caught in the state. Impressive.

I never heard of a paddle fish, so I had to google it. Dang, looks like a shark and a platypus had a kid.

They are hard to catch, they are bottom feeders, move that "paddle" back and forth under the mud to find what ever. Most are caught by snagging.

I was at my dentist today and he said the same thing. He was really unhappy that they killed it. I agree. Served no purpose.

It’s a good podcast on good intentions and how those can morph into overreach.

We’ve had some good examples of that here in Tennessee.

I did learn a lot about Paddlefish.
