Phil Williams TFA/John Harris Hit Piece

Today a WTVF/Phil Williams video showed up in my online news feed.  Not sure when it aired on channel 5, but I’ll tell you this, I’ll never watch that channel again! I was boiling mad by the end of it.  You can look it up online and watch it for yourself, but the focus was twisting the TFA, John Harris, and  all 2nd amendment supporters as cold hearted, white nationalist, idiots who don’t care about children and want to make Tennessee more dangerous thinner it already is.  Oh and we also want  to have a revolution and violently overthrow the Tennessee duly elected government too. What an a**.

If you are watching any of these in hopes of getting good news, I will pray for your soul, for they are part of the problem with our country. The local news just puke the same crap that the big guys put out.

I don’t, and channel 5 is prob the most liberal of the three, too.  Only watched the video online because it was about TFA .

I caught the promo on 5 with Phil talking about the interview. I was a bit agitatted over it. So I decided that I knew enough about Phil Williams that I'd not watch the full interview.  Your description of PW is accurate, btw.

John Harris and the TFA are know to us. Need I say more?

I learned years ago that if it’s a Phil Williams piece, at least a portion of it will be made up.

I don't know John Harris, so I have no impression of John good or bad. But he chose to make himself a public figure and with that the crap you post on social media is under a microscope. If you want to be in a position of influence or trust society has chosen, you lose some self-expression. Things could be posted for one reason but if any one person could possibly interpret it as something different, you're screwed. I've known multiple cops of different races post things that I thought nothing of because of knowing them but got hammered by media to push an image that make them seem racist or antigovernment. That being said I know Phil Williams is in the business of getting ratings and he will. I still don't blindly believe anything I see on the news.

Phil Williams is one who says he is an "Investigative Journalist."

JMO, but I tend to call him a muckraker at best. The longer he has been an ''On Air" personality, it seems the more loose with the facts; not always as others see them.

I will give him his due though. He is a very good "Presenter."

Perhaps Mr. Williams likes it when our duly elected officials urinate down his back. He should also refrain from using the word idiots when describing people who are smarter than he is. Investigative Journalist is a title given to people who know little of reality and their articles should begin with "Once Upon A Time"
