Nice Find at my LGS in Knoxville today (Flashlight)

Please go easy on me if this is in the wrong section but “deals & steals” looked woefully out of date on posts.  So I was in Knoxville Tactical picking up received goods today and saw a pallet of these! NATO overrun $3.99 !!!  This has always been a favorite overall design and it is nicely updated to LED & high impact polymer.  As a kid I would always scratch up the nice painted olive drab finish something terrible. Well that too is no longer a problem. Just wanted to share in case anyone else loves these like I do. 🙂

I wish I was in that part of the state. I love those. I’d pick up a gaggle of them for myself and the kids.

I wish I could run across that deal near me. I'd love to have about half a dozen at that price.

Once again. Wrong end of the state. 🙄

Ya know, an enterprising fella could buy a bunch of those for $3.99 and sell 'em here for around $5.00. I'd buy several. 😉

With these gas prices you'd have to sell a lot of em LOL

Shipping might be an option.

I was in Knox Tactical today and picked up two of these! The damned D-Cell batteries cost more than the flashlights! 😄

They still have a bunch of them! I highly recommend them. They have the extra lenses and the spare bulb.

You could order one of these. As a photographer, I use many, many of their AA's for various purposes. The only difference between a AA and C or D are simply their capacity. The voltages are all 1.5V. As such, a kit like the one linked you would give you a lot of capabilities. The AA's fit in the D sleeves and thus would work in these lights. You'd have reduced runtime compared to an actual D battery but you'd have many AA's to fill it with.

These re-chargeables are amazing, they claim after charging and setting on the shelf they'd have roughly 70% of that charge. The claim roughly 2,100 charge cycles as well. Owning Eneloops is like joining a cult...

As far as these lights go, I'd love to pick one up for that price.

I think that's a good deal! That's just twice as much as I paid for the pack of off brand D Batteries.

I found these. More expensive by a bit but cheaper than a trip for most people.

That's what I got.  Brightness is about the same as the old style military flashlights, with the incandescent blubs.

My father had one of these flashlights when I was a kid.

I found my old military flashlight yesterday, digging through a box in my office/man cave.
