(that and I really want the one with the wood grips but I would have lived with it. -- they don't seem to have a threaded barrel though)

Worst part is I'm in Nashville now, and have been waiting for a good Ruger IV Threaded Barrel....  even in stores I can't find them.

OK. Lets try this one more time. I had decided to keep this but I have found a new Ruger American Ranch in 5.56 that I would like to have so it is back up for sale.

Sadly, it's the 300 mile drive that is stopping me from picking it up from you.   That adds over $100 to the price and 5 hours of time.

OK Kenneth, you have taught me something new. It does appear to be drilled and tapped for a scope mount. I had not even noticed that. Pictures of the top added.
