It really blows that I have to engage in these conversations with my kids, but we live in a dysfunctional and dying world so I find myself having to be honest with them and explain why we take the precautions that we do.

She asked me, "Dad - would you have shot that person?".  Looking for assurance that I wouldn't have let it happen to us.

 

Yep, kiddo.  I'd have shot that person.

 

Being a dad is a tough job if you give a damn about how your children turn out.

Yeah that is the name I heard originally but the new and more accurate information points to a similar situation, ableit not with that person.

Yeah I'm not sure Luckyforward has anything to apologize for. Claiming our politicians care about kids is a huge stretch.

They (MNPD) just confirmed live that the shooter, Audrey Hale is a 28 yr old transgender and was a former student.

Also, the shooter shot out glass to gain entry...the door was NOT unlocked.
