call me cold hearted or whatever, but if i am in that situation and i forgot to disarm for a prohibited area and a threat appears, the only way i am going to draw my weapon is if i myself am in immediate danger or my family or close friends. if i dont know you, sorry about your luck

The downside, of course, is that innocents die, a lockdown occurs, all persons are searched, and you are caught with a firearm.;):tough::screwy:

Found in the situation that the OP describes and given the proper opportnity I'd have to intervene or I could never live with myself. That said confronted with it in reality.....god I hope none of us ever have to find out.
