I got to thinking about this earlier. How many of y'all wear gun related clothing, be it TGO gear, stuff from various manufacturers, or anything that's gun or shooting focused?

I prefer not to. Why wear a possible sign that you carry a gun.

I have a few things from my local range, but that's about it. I don't wear anything really outrageous like a huge I HEART 1911's shirt or anything.

I remember reading an article in one of the gun rags where they cautioned against it in everyday carry if you want to CC deeply because a gun or brand name could "out" you to a wise thug or some crap.

I think if you were wearing a range t-shirt and someone randomly asked you what your shirt meant you might be able to have a healthy firearms conversation with them. :D

About the closest I get is my Peace Through Superior Firepower t-shirt.

Wearing anything gun related on person or a car is asking for trouble, unless your at a range!

I don't currently have any. Most companies don't make shirts big enough to fit my fat a$$, and I don't do hats.

I'm waiting on the TGO shirts, and Joe (Hero-Gear) to get one of those Zombie shirts to fit me.

Quite frequently, almost daily. I'm almost always wearing a TGO hat or an embroidered shirt. I also have a lightweight black wind breaker / rain jacket that I had embroidered with the TGO logo so I wear that also depending on the weather.

Otherwise I've got my NRA hat, some NRA shirts, HK hat, BCM hat... :D

If it weren't for gun related garb, I'd be Naked Dave.

I just recently got my HCP and now I carry but, I have been wearing firearm related/advertising clothing most of my life and have never ever ever had anyone treat me differently because of it. I think some people are just paranoid. Anyway the best way to hide is in plain view..... Look, that guy is wearing a Ferarri shirt...lets go steal his car. (or any number of simialar scenarios) Just my .02

I think it's a lot less conspicuous here in the South anyway. A person wearing a lot of gun related clothing in one of the Communist states might stick out a lot worse. :D

The way, i look at it is this, if in a bank or in any place being robbed, the bad guy is going to notice you first.

Same if you have gun stickers on a vehicle mainly at places, where guns are not allowed, malls or shows, bad guys think you left a gun in the vehicle, since youre not allowed to have one inside!

I honestly never paid it much attention, but I've had several people at work comment on my TGO hat. Other than that, I don't really have any gun related clothing.

Anybody at work ever ask if you carry?

Yeah, a couple of folks have. I've been able to sway the conversation enough to avoid answering thus far.

Whenever i see any type of gun or hunting patch, i figure most likely he/she

is packing, what do you think a bad guy is thinking when he robs a place and sees your glock cap or jacket? Youre going to be the subject of his unwanted attention!

I wear my Hero Gear hat most everyday lately that's about the extent of me wearing anything that has print on it.

As for bumper stickers I don't have any. If I did you couldn't see them for the dirt anyway.

Slim... are you sure you aren't trolling the forum just to get a reaction?

No, I just am stating my opinion, like back the 90s when i bought my first glock, i got a real nice free cap with it, but after i had several aquaintences as well as a few strangers

ask me, if i carried a gun it sort of made me wonder!

Just like i do when i go to a gunshow and see bumper stickers about guns, makes me wonder as to where that persons gun is, since legally they cant have it inside. A lot of people have Alarm signs in their yard, to indicate they have an Alarm, i would think most do.

I always just try to be aware of my surroundings, since i work in rest. mgmt. in some of the worst parts of town, and unfortunately several people have been robbed and shot over the yrs. whom i do know and a couple even killed and or raped!

Like if i see someone with a Porsche jacket or key ring, i would think that is the vehicle that person is driving. I just try to be incognito, and if you think, that i am trying to start something, by simply expressing my observations, then i will not partake in this discussion! Thank's

That's a pretty broad question, when " anything gun related " could include anything from a nice golf shirt with a gun mfg. logo on it to a cut up T-shirt that says 'Kill Em All Let God Sort Em Out". I think common sense should prevail on this with everyone trying to keep in mind the best way to promote our sport and beliefs to the general public

All the time here :)

Always wear either my Spikes,or TGO hat,and I love my 5.11 pants for the durability.

As far as being picked out :)

I think that Massab Ayob or whatever is name is is the main reason for this thought.Quite frankly, hes an idiot!

Saw him the other day on a gun show saying not to get out of your car and pull your pants up because that'll make you :D Yeah, everybody does that, not just cops there dip****!

I think you are giving the bad guy robbing the gas station or resturaunt to much credit. I don't think they would notice the logo on your hat. So wear whatever you want.
