This is a VERY limited-edition commemorative. Remington produced only 1500 copies in 1981.  The rifle is almost flawless - it does have a small nick on the right front of the pistol grip. Fancy-grade walnut, gold-filled and gold inlaid engraving and a high-polished deep blue finish.  There is a .30-06 case head inlaid in front of the magazine on the bottom.  Built on Remington's well-known semi-auto action, this custom-shop edition would look good in any collection. $1500 cash, no trades.
