Awsome!!! I am working on this myself, its amazing how you feel after paying off a debt completely, and to know that you now have an extra $200 a month to buy guns or ammo!!

I have never had alot of debt personally. I had a hard spot a few years ago and had to use my cards for awhile for essentials because there just wasn't anything left after bills most of the time.

I paid off my first card last month and I'm tearing the other 2 down now. Once they are out of the way the only things left are my bike which is a small debt anyhow, and my wife's car. My car is already paid off as of last summer.

My goal is to have everything we owe paid off by 2010 hopefully. Then we are gonna start looking at houses.

Congrats!

Lord willing we will pay off the first of our student loans when our tax return arrives. Then, hopefully the snowball will really start rolling.

We've been chipping for a long time. We even adopted one child and started adopting a second. It was a lot of fund raising, but we've been able to pay cash for that while still getting out of debt.

I am 37 and hope to be debt free except the house by my 40th birthday.

0 debt and have been for a few years. Only card is Amex and that is paid off every month. House is paid for, cars are 5+ years old but paid for, etc..

Another Dave fan here, debt free but the house. The truck's a little old, but it gets the job done. :screwy:

Congratulations! It feels great now, after having made the last payment, but just wait until next month when the paycheck comes in and...doesn't have to go anywhere! :D:D

Credit cards are wonderful, as long as you never carry a balance over.

I put most everything for many years on an ATT Universal Card, you get "rewards", the best value being gift cards to the store of your choice. I generally get Best Buy if needing electronics/puter stuff, or Cabela's if wanting ammo.
