Storm...rain and LIGHTENING!

Sitting here in Inglewood at 2:15 am listening to the rain and rumblings of thunder. Just had what sounded like a lightening strike in the back yard.

Very bright and intense light!  Sounded like a tree strike possibly. Have lots of old trees around. Might get up to find a few limbs down.

It does appear that this storm packs a punch., headed out in a sec to help a friend with a tree across his driveway

Well, I hate being right! Several big limbs from older trees inside and on the fenced area in back. Guess my lawn helper will have some fun times with it.

It was a really intense storm. I was lying in bed enjoying the sound of the rain when it felt like the storm settled over my house. I’ve never felt a house vibrate like that before.

I actually like listening to the sound of rain on the roof...especially a tin roof.

One of the best nights I ever had was in a trailer listening to the rain hitting the roof. Of course, there were other things going on that intensified the magic of that night. A very fond memory!
