JUSTIFIED

My wife is from that part of KY. She tells me the show is very close to how things are there.

The reboot Justified: City Primeval is supposed to start this summer.  Looking forward to more Raylan Givens in a new city.

I've watched the original series about 3 times. It just doesn't get old for me. So, this is GREAT NEWS! I'm glad they got Timothy Olyphant back.

I knew a lot of people here were gonna hate episode 3.  The reality is that people are gay. I didn't find any agenda.

This show is leaps and bounds better than The Walking Dead.

Plus it's not anything hollywood did as Bill (offerman's character) is gay in the game.

I wasn't even aware this show was based on a game. I keep forgetting how HUGE that segment of the entertainment economy is that gaming storylines become movies and TV shows.

Regardless, Hollyweird changes things about characters, plots, scenes, etc all the time, so it's not like they had to do the same thing the video game did. I doubt they've ever changed a gay character into a str8 character for a movie though.

Some people are gay.  Some are gayer than others.  Walking Dead had a gay couple.  A couple actually.  Who cares.  As long as they don’t make me participate, be gay mane!

You can call me a kook, but I watch Pluto all the time, mostly Gunsmoke on the Gunsmoke channel.  I do have Hulu, Prime, Netflix, Disney, ESPN+, etc., but find my TV 90%+ of the time on the free Pluto watching old shows.

Another idea, last year my wife and I watched through Prime All in the Family (Archie Bunker) every episode, about 2 shows per night, and it took 3-4 months to watch them all.  I haven't laughed that hard about TV in a long long time.  I remember watching as a young person, but now with an old adult mind, it was great to just laugh about certain situations.  My wife had never watched, and really enjoyed it.  And yes we know it was intended as a parody, but we still laughed and laughed, and I can relate but not always agree to what Archie said.

I really do not care about what is on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox, I probably couldn't name a show that is on.  I don't get caught up with the talking heads on the news outlets either.  I only watch sports and the old shows from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Like I said you can call me kooky!

I watch Pluto TV quite a bit. I like watching episodes of This Old House. You can learn some neat stuff if you like working on your house. Stirr is another one I watch occasionally.  It has the old Starsky and Hutch episodes on it. I like the older stuff myself.

It would be neat to make a show based off of Call of Duty which is video game. The guy who played Ricky Conlan's manager in Creed would be the perfect character to play Captain Price

You and I have a lot of interests in common, when it comes to reading.  Andre Norton was my introduction into Sci/fi too. Still read plenty of it and I'm almost 60! Got Kindle unlimited and I think I'm keeping several sci/fi authors in the writing business! 😄

I'll throw in some of our favorite shows to watch. Longmire and Justified are two my wife and I highly recommend. We've watched both through twice now. Enjoyed Yellowstone, but I also think it's about run its course. 1883 was a great short series. 1923 is going to be another great short series. So far, we have enjoyed Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King. All those are Taylor Sheridan series. The guy knows how to make some great TV series!!!

Of course GoT was great, right up until the end. Then they screwed it up. I've enjoyed The Lord of the Rings series on Prime. You just have to accept that it's not Tolkien Canon, and then it's great.

Enjoyed the Expanse series as well, though I must confess that I enjoy reading sci/fi far more when I read it.

I just started Tulsa King yesterday. I really like it! I also agree about Taylor Sheridan knowing what he's doing. He's got the Midas touch with TV series.

Throwing another oldie out there.  You can get the Jesse Stone series of TV movies on Amazon. Well worth the watch. Tom Selleck is always great!
