357 "Midway" ammo

Recommended Posts

I received some 357mag cartridges from a friend. It was in a bag of brass he was giving me and just put these in there. They were given to him from his father and long story short, he don't know where they came from! On the styrofoam holder it just has Hornady 140gr handwritten. They appear to have 140gr XTP bullet but the brass is stamped "Midway". Anyone heard of Midway brass? Just trying to determine if these are factory or reloads. Thank you.

Midway used to sell brass with their headstamp-

I have their brass in .41 mag-so I would assume that is someone's handloads-

I have not heard of Midway stamped complete ammo-

Someone else may have  knowledge about Midway that's different-

I have some old Midway headstamp brass somewhere that my dad bought (from Midway).  I don’t think there was ever any Midway ammo, though.

I have come to the conclusion that these are someone's reloads. Not gonna shoot'em!

If you reload break them down and make them like you want.
