Bought this vintage beauty yesterday.  Always wanted to own one.

I’ve always been a fan. That one looks to have spent some time in a holster. Is it chambered in 45 Colt? I assume it’s a first generation. Any idea when it was made?

Thanks.  Yes, it is first generation and was made in 1909.  It is chambered in .38 - 40.
