Guns to Mexico

Recommended Posts

I have been hearing a lot of noise about guns from the U. S. going to drug cartels in Mexico and don't really know what to think about it. I am sure a lot of it is liberal media bull. A lot of the cartel's guns are coming from the Mexican military. However I know there are some people that would sell gas to a man with a lit match in his hand just to make a dollar. If people are knowingly selling guns to Mexican drug cartels then they are not friends to American gun owners and need to be held accountable. They are only fanning the flames of the anti second amendment crowd.

It seems a simple solution would be to close the border. No guns to Mexico, no illegals or drugs to the US. What is so hard to understand about that?

Let me help you out with what to think about it. Our asshat Atty Gen Holder is using it as an excuse the get the uninformed public to support his call for another AWB. It's easier to get support for one if you can scare the sheep.

IF there are any guns going across the border, banning the guns are not going to make a bit of difference to the gun runners. Most of them are probably full automatics, which most of us can't even own, so they are already illegal guns. A ban will not affect the trade route at all.

I'm sure that a lot of otherwise law abiding citizens of Mexico (exclude the fact that they may be crossing the border illegally) are getting a few weapons in the US for their own self protection, since they apparently can't buy them in Mexico. I know that if I were in the middle of a war zone I would try to get a weapon somehow. I wonder if this could account for some of the traffic.

However, if our government was HONEST about their assertions, they would make available a list of serial numbers.... and they would be publicizing the names of the FFL dealers supplying the weapons.

The problem is.... our blind public in general willingly believes the lies fed them by the compliant media. And that is all they need to ram another AWB through.

What is pathetic and sad is that the first day that I saw this on the news, I remarked to several people to make a mental note as to what will soon come to pass. I was specific,....and it all came to pass as I stated. Am I happy about this ?...NO. I think that it is so pathetic that proposed solutions (absent of responsibility, accountability and justice) have become so predictable.

Think about it. Organized, criminal dope dealers south of the border are gunning each other down and our politicians / media are portraying the situation as if these poor Mexicans are victims of our EVIL American guns. It is also our fault due to the drug demand in the U.S. Of coarse,....we must do something, right ? Why not sacrifice ( and or allow government to limit) our fundamental rights and liberties at the alter as a sacrifice to the cause of the greater good ? ( This is the proposed solution of our elected officials who swore an oath to preserve the constitution. )

The sacrificial lamb of the unreachable utopian Socialist ideal of the modern day liberals is our LIBERTY and FREEDOM ( constitutionally protected rights.) How else can our fundamental, unalienable rights be blamed for the victimization of criminals in a foreign country ? It is nothing more than a opportunity for the liberals to exploit a situation, at our expense,.....for the common good. Our politicians are left reaping the power and glory in the end. ( at the expense of our liberty in the name of safety and security )

I really dont see why you want to blame the FFL? If a person comes in and picks out a gun and PASSES the background check how is the dealer supposed to know the guns are going to be sent to Mexico or any other country? There is no way for the FFL to know what any person buying a gun is going to do with it. We need to start holding the person who commits a crime accountable instead of passing on the blame to someone else.

this is going on on far bigger scale than FFL dealer or private persons sales, this is a mafia/drug cartel operation and probably getting those guns in bulk from who knows where, they don`t buy old 22`s off the street, they are buying full auto military rifles and guns. There will be no end to this until cops start doing "eye for an eye" tactics and start beheading and killing those crooks in front of their homes. We will not win the fight against the criminals unless we change our liberal tactics and start shooting them...
