• Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.
   
• Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.

Is it just a coincidence that I have not gotten one nibble since the  Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers  began being posted after all my ads ?

Every sales ad get the same post as your ads. There are so many new members that post a sale ad as a first post. The new members do not have any history to check, thus the safety reminder.

Now do not take this the wrong way, but money is tight and everybody has items listed a bit high. I just picked up a red dot sight from a member yesterday for a good price. Price things to sell and people will buy.

That's actually a pretty good price on a scope that Optics Planet sells new for over $500 plus tax.  But as Red333 says, money can be tight with high inflation and an unsettled economy. I'd be interested in this scope had I not just spent a butt-load of money on new tires and wheels.

Thanks for the responses guys. I appreciate the feedback and your input as well. I'll put a couple of things on the sale table at the Kettlefoot matches this week and take everything to the gunshow this coming weekend in hopes that it's a good show. Tax refund time is always a good selling interval too. And that's coming up soon.
