anybdoy in knoxville want to get together and shoot one day soon?

im a fairly new gun owner in my early 20's ive only had my ruger 10/22 since early december and im a pretty decent shot but id like to shoot with somebody more experienced so i can learn as much as possible about safety and other good shooting practices. im on the lookout for a mosin nagant 91/30 but cant find one local and half the gunshops just look at me like im stupid when i ask if they can get me one.

ive shot other guns before such as my uncles 12ga when i was about 10 or so and ive shot my grandmothers .38 and im 6'4" about 300lbs so recoil isnt too big an issue with me. and i can shoot the 10/22 one handed with no felt recoil so its not too big a deal with me.

That Mosin does pack a punch. I have about 300 rounds for mine. Probably a lifetime supply.

There is a sporting goods store west of Knoxville about 35 minutes that has two 91/30's that are both ex sniper's. They need a good cleaning but they are priced at $110 give or take. I just popped in there a few days ago and saw them. I haven't ever bought anything from them but they have been around for longer than I have. They are not overly friendly but they are not rude either. Here is their address if interested.

You need to buy a PSL to help get rid of some of that ammo!
