RIP. I was fortunate enough to bee able to meet him in person and a few other Steeler greats when I growing up in Western PA. My cousin and I would go to St. Vincent College were they held their training camp just outside of Latrobe PA. My cousin was good friends with a couple of the coaches at that time and we got to go down to the practice field and watch them. My other cousin who lived in Pittsburgh PA used to have some get togethers at her house and her husband was Dr. who sometimes worked with the Steelers would have a bunch of them over to her house for party's and I got to meet a bunch Terry Bradshaw, Joe Green, Lynn Swan, Jack Ham, and a few more. Those where good days.

I think any party with Bradshaw and the Steelers would have been  awesome.  Like a old movie North Dallas Fourty.  With MacDavis think animal house with football players.

My wife is a lifetime Steelers fan & cried at the news Franco had died. He meant something to the fans & by all accounts he was a funny, standup, decent man. God bless him & his family. As I write this we are only two days away from the 50th anniversary of his "immaculate reception". It would have been great if he could have made it to see & celebrate the day with all the fans. Thanks for the memories Mr. Harris.
