Spare Ammo

How much spare ammo do you guys carry if any. My carry is a 7 shot revolver, pocket carried, and a speed strip with 8 extra rounds in a back pocket. If I carry pistols, 12 shot or 15, I carry an extra magazine of ammo in my back pocket as well. Just interested if you guys carry extra ammo. A lot of trainers, and (Quote) "lots of professionals" say one will most likely not need a reload in a gunfight. I like to be prepared so I do carry extra ammo.

I usually carry at least one spare mag.  Some times two. Regardless, I always have a reload.

Revolver - one speed strip in my pants pocket. 

Semi-auto - at least one, often two magazines. A double mag pouch doesn't take up much more space than a single. So why not two?
