Mossberg 590 Serial?

Can anyone tell me where exactly the serial # is stamped on a Mossberg 590. I've looked all over and can't find it. I put a side-saddle on it back in the day and if it's under the saddle then that's why I'm missing it.

Any help is appreciated.

Without me looking,Im thinking its on the side of the receiver just above the action lock lever

The 590s didn't come with a serial #. LOL just joking. its on the left side of the reciever........ Under the side saddle

The one labeled #3, the serial # should be on the left side of the receiver, just above the trigger.

Thanks everyone - I put that saddle on about 8 months ago and didn't want to remove it unless I had to.

Just remove the one screw that replaces the trigger pin,and swing it out of the way

Yeah, yeah. I don't like to go from memory*, so first I remoted to my home machine to look up my pictures and serial #'s listing, only to realize that I really need to update that. So then I hit Gunbroker and checked auctions for pics until I found one with a serial # showing.

*Mainly because ever since I hit 40 it seems I have the memory of a crack baby.
