Bumping an ad in classifieds?

These are the rules specific to the Trading Post.

 

We don't have a policy about thread bumping because it's never been a problem.  Let your conscience be your guide.  The harder you go after it; the more likely others are to complain.  And if enough people do that, we'd have to consider writing a rule around it.

I usually try to wait several days to a week between bumps. Sometimes a little sooner if I have decided to change the price or something. Some folks bump much more often.

I usually give it a week before I'll bump it up. Every one is different, I've seen adds on Monday and bummed up on Wednesday without any one replying to the add other than the person who posted the add. Just use  your own discretion, remember it's the holidays so sometimes selling something may take a little while.
