niger, cracker, bubba or I don`t know what, I think people are overall too sensitive these days and they can get offended by anything. Guys who work with a public have to be very careful because there are some people out there just waiting for a chance to sue for whatever reason. Another day on my bus young black punk tried to walk by me without paying a bus fare, I pulled him back easily and he told me not to touch him, that felt uncomfortable, I told him he will feel uncofortable if I slap him one behind his ear...this is a different world these days than what it was 30 years ago, sometimes I wish I lived in some other times...

I'd be offended to if someone called be a landlocked country in Western Africa, named after the Niger river.

You inconsiderate asshat! Do you have any idea how much it hurts to laugh when you have had the flu for 3 days and coughed nonstop? I feel like I got punched in the ribcage by Chuck Liddell. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

O.K. I agree wholeheartedly with 44m. I grew up before "politically correct" was a concern, and I know how stupid it has become. Let me rephrase my original post more specifically. It is not the name that offends me, but the implications.

Here goes... Would you agree that "Bubba", "Average Joe" , "Joe Six pack", "Joe the Plumber" and the like, are being used by the media and our political leaders to create the image that the average white, middle aged, working class, conservative, American male is not cultured or intelligent enough to know what is best for our county's future? Am I seeing this the wrong way? Because, it seems to me that this is just one of many ways that the demographic who most represents a "constitutional America" is being put on the fast track to irrelevance. (Much like our "outdated" Constitution and Bill of Rights) It just seems like more socialist propaganda to me. You know they want to burn the Constitution, and they will, just as soon as they effectively marginalize those who still support it in the eyes of the majority. I couldn't care less about names, but these seem more like tools.
