Anyone use this to lubricate their firearms?

It got a recommendation on TheHighRoad.org recently, so I was thinking about ordering a case, or getting some locally if anyone happens to know who might stock it?

If I order a case, anybody else want a can or two out of it?

I actually use white lithium grease on my weapons.

never used that one, but there are quite a few gun specific cleaners with teflon, i know hoppes makes one. i was looking at a few a couple months ago but couldn't bring myself to try them out

I've never heard of it, but the Teflon and molybdenum (disulfide?) sounds OK. Not sure about the polymerized wax part though.

Yeah... I'd be interested to find out what the liquefaction and combustion temperatures are for the wax which they use as the solution for their formula. Some waxes can handle a few hundred degrees, but to be used in an aerosol, however, I assume those points to be low. Not a problem provided that the application is sparing (no different than oil).

Well yes...grease is sometimes made from paraffinic oil but a lot of oil is dewaxed in the process of refining.

I'm not saying that the wax is bad, just that I'd like to know more about the wax in this product before deciding it would be good for gun use.

I use a high temp transmission oil developed for high temp use in CVT transmissions. Excellent metal impregnation and penetration. After 200 round match visible, not collecting much debris. As good as several name brand gun lubes.
