What's the best place to buy in bulk now? I finally got a chance to go to the range more often and I would like to stock up on some 9mm and 45acp.

Ammoseek is always a safe bet to find the cheapest prices.

Thanks, now I get to spend hours and hours calculating the best deals.

Oh there’s a certain point in this hobby where you cross the threshold from spending your time shooting to you spending most of your time shopping for parts and ammo.

Yeah, given the insane cost of ammo for the past few years, I haven't really shot that much. But now that I have more time and money, plus a few ranges on the way to and from work, I need to stock up on more ammo. I do plan on getting some parts for the cz's I have once I sell my car.

You might want to look a JJR Ammo out of Stanford, Conn.  Their prices have dropped and are not too bad.  They sell their ammo in 550 round packs.  For example 9mm 155gr FMJ is  $160.00 per box, 9mm 124gr FMJ is $180.00 per box and 45 ACP 230 FML are $250.00 per box.   Here is a link if interested.  https://shop.jjrammo.com/main.sc

Hey Legion, the link isn't working, at least for me.

I have bought bulk reloads of 9mm recently from both 2A Warehouse https://2awarehouse.com and Freedom Ammo https://www.freedommunitions.com they come loose in a plastic ammo can. Paid around 30 cents a round with taxes and delivery. Prices are always changing a little and good shipping prices sometimes is offered as an incentive. I wasn't out but decided I wanted to be well stocked before elections and the price was low enough.

Hey Moped, have you been to the new Smoky Mountain Guns and Knives on Asheville Hwy in East Knox?   They did have 9mm brass for $15 a box of 50.  I don't know if they still do or not, it was when it was newly opened.  I think the rest of the ammo was about the same as other places, i was just there to grab the cheap 9mm and didn't have alot of time.

For what it’s worth, I’ve had decent luck with “ZSR” 114gr. Want to say I scored I deal for .265 per round including shipping. Its originally Turkish ammo but comes in a weird repackaged box titled like Buffalo ammunition, includes some Christian printout, it’s not reman and it’s reloadable brass. Read online that some people have hard primer strikes, haven’t experienced but have had a couple FTE. Little dirty but as long as your not mag dumping and using it for plinking/training I’m a fan of the price.

Recommend velocity for bulk purchases. Free shipping over $200. Hope that helps. (Amy batches did not look like the picture, was repackaged in that Buffalo brand boxing).

Great. what did you end up paying per/round? I’m curious if prices are finally common down.

Just as Covid hit I picked up 1000 rounds from Natchez for about $0.21/round with tax and shipping.

.28 for 9mm and .44 for the cheapest .45 I could find. Why is .45 so god damned expensive?

www.freedommunitions.com  and https://www.laxammo.com/  same company now.  I have been buying ammo from freedommunition since 2014 ... first time buyers on both sites get free shipping over $200 or $250....They have free shipping or $4.99 or $9.99 shipping on $200 or more.. on most holidays. They ship with UPS...takes a week from Idaho..  If you buy off the laxamo site you have to buy a certain about of their LAX brand ammo to get the shipping deals.  It has to be from the same factory.   I have never had a problem with the ammo.  I have also used https://2awarehouse.com  when they lower the prices on 5.56 or 223 enough to offset the shipping cost.
