Guy about a page or 2 down has a double stack commander size 1911 for sake.

Yeah.....the double stack feels "wrong". No matter how many times I hold one, it doesn't feel "right".

Call around to a couple local GDs surely someone has a Rock Island. My buddy bought one about a month ago, we can't get enough of it, already have over 1000 rds down it with only one failure to eject and it was due to a bent case rim, which we couldn't determine was from the ejector or if it was bent out of the box, my money is on the rim being bent out of the box, it wasn't exactly the best ammo.

I'm sure you're looking for something local, but I just took a chance on one of these. Couldn't pass it up, after tax, shipping, and transfer fee I'll be in it around $400.

Yeah, I been looking around at some of the shops but I always see if someone on here is tired of theirs first.

This is quite tempting even with the $55 extra for back ground and then the transfer fee

The Taylor's is actually an Armscor/Rock Island with a Taylor's mark on it. Good to go.
