Knife Story

Last night my wife and I went to a concert at a local venue that we have been too in the past. They have the standard sign of prohibited items, no outside food or drink, purses have to be less than 9"X13", no guns or weapons, no cameras, no recording devices, etc. The new thing this time was they had metal detectors setup and we had to empty our pockets before going through. They spotted my pocket knife and said that was not allowed, luckily I kept my mouth shut and the fellow told me to keep it in my pocket and don't bring it next time, when I pleaded ignorance. Thinking about it, I never considered my 2" blade pocket knife a weapon, I do think of my smart phone as a very good camera and recording device. Thinking more about their security, a 9"X13" purse, which they were not inspecting, could carry several good size hand guns and many knives. Oh well, maybe I should look into a ceramic knife as my going out pocket knife.

Same thing happened to me a few years back at a casino. But the guy wouldnt let me in with it. So I walked around looking for a good place to hide it for a few hours. After the show I went back and it was gone. I'Il bet that security guy watched where I went-lol. Got himself a free knife.
