I can look at my watch and see what time it is

We need to call this a "Joe Biden"

Starting to feel ashamed here.  Don’t think I’ve worn a watch at all in the 21st century.

I'm with you...but goe a bit further back than that. Seriously, I don't think I've worn a watch since the Mid-to late 1970s. Always hated the feel of it on my skin. Just a pecularity of mine.

Same can be said for rings. I like them, just can't wear them. Wife took  my wedding ring and had it fitted for her. Says if I can't wear it...someday I might just regret it. Still waiting.

I got a new Timex for Christmas.   I wanted something with more contrast between the face and hands so it would be easier for my old eyes to read. This fit the bill.

My God! I'd need a seeing-eye dog that could read the data and bark out the time to me.😀

It's hard to beat a Timex. I have three and one is on my wrist everyday. Keep time better than my Rolex.

I wear a cheap Timex Ironman at work. I have a couple nice Casios,a Bulova Marine Master and a Swiss Army watch but I never wear them.

Anyone have a recommendation for a place that can clean my old Seiko Sports 100?  It's been in my desk drawer for years and today I put new batteries in it. It seems to run fine, but the buttons are bit sticky. I'm near Crossville, so would prefer a place near here.

Get some jewelry cleaner and a toothbrush. Scrub it down with that and it will likely accomplish everything you’re after.

Picked up a new leather strap for the Speedy. Wasn’t expecting much at $20 but it surprised me.

I quit wearing watches a couple of decades ago.  About three years ago, I started having an hankering for one again.  We do a lot of antique and thrift store shopping for my wife's craft business. We happened to be in Bargain Hunters over on Chapman Hwy, not long after and I spotted an Armitron Sport watch that was gray and orange (Great UT colors) for $10.  I bought it and have been wearing ever since. No clue how old it is, but after three years, I still haven't replaced the battery!!! I consider it to be a fantastic buy!!!

I've been wearing a Tag Heuer Formula 1 for about 10 years.  Before it I had a Seiko watch for 16-17 years.

Love me some Tags. Always been one of my favorite watches since the late 80’s.

I have a watch I never wear. The battery died within 2 years of purchase and the boys at Batteries Plus couldn't figure out how to replace it. I thought watch batteries were known to last many years?

18 months to two years.  Can't you get the back off and replace the battery yourself?

I haven't tried but if the nerds couldn't get it I'm assuming it's an odd design. I'll check it out though.

I paid about twenty bucks for a tool kit for watches. It includes a wrench for opening the back, and it worked fine on a Fossil and a Seiko watch. You can find them on eBay.
