Just a simple old $30 Timex. Keeps perfect time and its all I need. I've never been much for fancy watches or jewelry. 

You do realize that those of us who still wear a watch are dinosaurs don't you? Younger folks today just check the clock on their phone.

I use two Series 3 Apple Watches.

I've been wearing this one lately. It's an Invicta Cetified Swiss COC Chronometer Automatic Movement, Meteorite Dial, 4.5cwt. Tasvorites, and 10pts. of Dimonds on the Winder. This is from the era when they were all made in Switzerland. I've got at least twelve more Invicta Automatics with the Swiss 7750 VALJUE Movements.

Working on equipment has and will destroy rings, and watches. Years ago I welded a wrench to a ring changing a battery on a boat, burned my finger as well. After that never did wear anything below my elbows but long sleeves and not around running motors or engines.

I wear a gray and orange digital Armitron Prosport watch that I picked up at a flea market, three years ago for $10. I've never changed the battery in it. Runs great!!! Plan to replace it with a new one when the battery dies.  Not even going to try to change the battery out. Kohl's sells them new for $20 now.  Does everything I need it too, which is tell time and date.

Timex, it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.  Mine is a chronograph with a leather strap.  I've worn it daily for at least 15 years. I've been thinking of getting another one with a bigger date field as it's getting harder to read those little numbers.

Todays choice is a custom Casio with aftermarket dial, bezel, and hands.

Yep, been there and done that.  Many years ago, I accidentally arced out a cheap watch on the circuit breaker panel of a GMC Astro. Lucky for me the cheap band burnt in half and fell off. Still left a nasty burn and a scar that took many years to fade.   

When I was working I wore those cheap all plastic Wal-Mart watches. No electrical problems and if it snagged on something the band would just snap off.  I remember when they sold for $2. By the time I retired they had gone up to $12!  

Quit wearing my wedding band after about 3 weeks of marriage when it tried to rip my finger off at work. My wife wore it next to her's from then on.

I went a couple of decades without wearing one, until I got this Armitron. Still don’t wear it every day.

Not necessarily.  I can look at my watch and see what time it is without the temptation to do other things on my phone.
