Guess this is really happening, I never thought I would see the rise of the third reich again in my lifetime, but it's possible hitler's nazi's really didn't go away, just migrated, got stronger, and reemerged as democrats :koolaid: sorry if this is anti gv'mt sentiment

I am not anti-government, I am pro limited / anti BIG government. In this day in age, if you are informed and have a deep understanding and value in the true constitutional republican form of government, then you have to acknowledge the importance of how the constitution serves to safeguard our natural rights and liberties by placing limitations on our government which always has the potential of becoming oppressive and tyrannical toward the rights of this society if left unchecked. The whole idea is that our rights come from God, not the constitution. Therefore , the Bill of Rights was established in order to protect and to preserve our unalienable, fundamental, God given rights from government. The founding principles of our limited government can be found among the writings and works of John Locke, whose ideas and political philosophy influenced Thomas Jefferson's writing of the Declaration, Madison's penning of the Bill of Rights and the constitution. These were all Natural Rights documents.

Here is a quote from one of the most dangerous "terrorists" / militia advocates ( not to be confused with standing army or national guard ) who ever lived in this country. Here is his take on the preservation of liberty.

Thomas Jefferson: "... God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

If Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he would probably be banned from this site for his radical views and content. (No disrespect or sarcasm intended)
