But my K98 is the pride of my collection. My uncle mailed it to my dad during WWII. It has a lot sentimental value if not monetary...

Wow, a k98! I probably wouldn't sell it due to the sentimetnal value, but if you ever did, that's a lot of money...

Last I checked they were running about $250.00 even with all the little German markings...

So no real monetary value but tons of sentimental value. Millions were made and governments around the world have been selling them off so they can buy AK's or M-16's.

I’m collecting American military weapons right now. But I always have my eye out for a K98 Mauser; I would love to find an all original with a story. Hang on to yours.
