That’s such a shame.

I saw them play many times growing up in Atlanta.  They were great musicians - but also seemed to be pretty decent businessmen.

Another fine one gone, RIP Dusty. One things for sure when we all go, there should be some great concerts going on with all the musicians that have passed, hope they got beer to drink while enjoying some of the music that's there.

Ok, I'm confused -- this happened 15 months ago and it was widely covered in the music industry press and mainstream news media.  Why is it surfacing here today?

You are correct.  I saw this come up on a news site last night.  It was on the MSN site.  It was from something called Metal Shout.

Perhaps not timely info, but it never hurts to remember those who have left us. And ZZ Top is continuing on with a new bass player.

I thought he had died a while back but wasn’t sure. Thanks Whisper. You only die once except on the internet.

Tom Petty died thrice and twice was on the net

Now he just lives like a refugee.

Luckily he was able to get in that last dance with Mary Jane

I can’t recall if I seen that he had passed, may he Rest In Peace. I saw them years ago at Starwood, they sure rocked out for only 3 people.

I could have swore I saw Elvis holding a sign just off one of the 65N exit ramps. I think it said "Help Colonel Parker Screwed Me Over."
