Brass as an Art Form

I've got a buddy in Florida who did a lot of coral reef diving.  Since he had a lot of used range brass that he'd never have time to reload, he tossed some in his melting pot and fashioned this coral artwork.  He says he has a lot of aluminum cans, too.  I've heard of beating your swords into plowshares....but this!  🤩

What process did he use to make that? Drop molten brass into oil or water?

I've got a call in for him to answer that.  We'll have to be patient....He's a Florida man, ya know.  🤪

So, 50/50 chance he's in jail at any given time?

He's tight lipped on how he fabricated the sculpture, saying that he used about 3 pounds of range brass in a "complicated, toxic process."  Given that Florida is a cornucopia of toxicity, from chemicals to sea and land creatures, it's anybody's guess how he does it.  🤔

Code for “so easy a cave man can do it”. 😇
