Goose Hunting?

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have only ever hunted Deer. However, I saw a flock of geese recently and the thought struck me, why not trying something new. I can't find a ton of information out there on the google regarding hunting Geese in TN (I did find the state's website with regs and whatnot). Does anyone have any first hand experience hunting geese in TN? Specifically, is it worth it from a meat perspective? Any restrictions on where I can hunt them? etc etc. All I can find on the states website is dates, information on limiting the number of shots in the tube, and bag limits.

Appreciate your learned council.

I have to hunt them occasionally. They are always in my yard.
