New member profile

My profile says I am a New Member but I've actually been a member for a number of years. How do I correct that?

That status is determined by post count in non-classified sections. 
 

So if you want that status to change, the answer is to post and engage with the community. It will change automatically.

It dont take much to "New" gone. it seems like last week I was getting bad points for a post that did not fit the forum, that was 10 years ago.
