Shotgun Stock Repair

Recommended Posts

I've got a good friend that has a fairly new hi-grade Browning Citori 20 ga O/U that is developing a small crack in the forearm. It's just in front of the hinge iron and maybe 1/2" long but you can see that it's following the grain out towards the muzzle. Any good stock guys here in TN that can stop that crack? I'm not sure how they'd do that but I hear that good stock guys can do magic. Who are the good stock guys in TN?

For metal you drill a hole, wont look good on a forearm.

If it’s fairly new I would send it back to Browning. My guess is they will replace at no charge.  You may try a call or email first.  If it’s high end that’s not a good image for them not to replace or repair.
