Just getting into 10mm (Kimber) for backpacking and possibly deer hunting. Who is a fan and why and for what purpose?

I have a Glock 20 in grey. I bought it as my "fun gun" as I do not particularly care for Glocks, (I get Glock finger pretty easily). I wanted it just because. I make my own loads and love the blast over my .357 Sig and 9mm Sigs. I am not a hunter, but I can hunt with it should I get a wild hair up my ass. I had the Glock 29, but I have 3XL hands and didn't like it so I gave it to my son.

I also don’t care for Glocks, but own a #22.  I guess everybody has to have a least one.  I also don’t hunt, my wife refuses to cook any dragged out of the woods.  I think the most responsible way to hunt is shot placement so the animal goes down quickly, yeah I know your killing it.  Hunting with a pistol makes the above hit or wound.  Might think about buying a rifle.  My 2 cents worth.

I have a RIA 1911 in 10mm and a S&W610 revolver also in 10mm-

Not because I need them but because I wanted them-

I found that downloading a 10mm to mild is a lot of fun to shoot-

My low power target load will not cycle the 1911-revolver round only-
