Places to shoot in Cleveland?

Hey guys,

As some of you know, I've just moved from Knoxville to Cleveland for work.

Like it here alot, but I'm having a hard time finding a place to shoot, and finding local gun shops.

I've sent an email through the website of Cleveland hunting, rifle and pistol club hoping to join, but since I haven't heard back, I assume the email is a dead account. Anyone here with them I was going to swing by today for IDPA, and to make contact but I'm out of 9mm, and am pressed for time today.

Any other nearby places to shoot?

No, it's not dead. Just show up at the next meeting, see Sean, fill out the app, and pay your money. I think it's $65 for the year. You can get directions to the club on their web site. My wife and I will probably be there. I'll have a TGO hat on.

Just read the rest of your post. We may be there today also. I usually have a blue fire-rescue hat on.

I'd be pretty darn happy if it was at least on par with ORSA! I'm still a member at ORSA, but now living in Cleveland, it's a bit inconvenient for anything but a well planned day trip.

There is Fugate Firearms on highway 11, Calhoun. They're just north of the river across from Bowater. They have a nice indoor range and offer the HCP class.

I forgot I'm close to them now. I took my HCP from them when I moved to Knox, and it was a haul from there, so I kinda just forgot about them.
