if the right MOS version pops up when I have cash, one will likely end up in rotation.

Can of course always go the custom route. And with there being a Glock Store in Nashville the wait for milling isn't nearly as long, none of mine have been milled, I've just gotten aftermarket slides, but only my 19x and 41 have optics. The others have Ameriglo Ghost Ring sights with tritium dots. Personally, I still prefer a 1911 platform over my glocks, but depending on models and price point, some of my glocks tend to be lopped into the "better" category. Compare my Kimber Custom 1911 Two Tone 5"  to my 21, the 21, in my opinion has less felt recoil out of the box, but isn't nearly as accurate as my Kimber.

I owned a Glock for 1 day. Got a 26 in a trade, shot it in the backyard and hated it. It shot OK but I cant get by the looks-lol.

Traded it the next day for a TP9SFX. One of the most accurate guns I have ever shot.

I got the Stoeger STR-9 and the Stoeger STR-9C (compact) over the last two months. Got the compact first, on the suggestion from a family member fell in love with it, the STR-9 was on sale then got it.

I have glocks, S&W's and Rugers.  The stoeger just feels right in my hands seems to be a combination of a Glock and a S&W in a good way.  So far no problems with about 500 rounds through each.

The only gun my wife likes is her glock 17,  I handed her the STR-9c,  I don't like that.  Went to the range and now she is in love with it.

What brand ammo are you using  feeding it. CCI is getting expensive   I

What all's available locally: cci sv, cci blazer, cci mini mag, Aguilar 40gr rn, armscor hv and sv, Winchester SuperX. But mostly Federal Automatch since it shoots fine and is the cheapest. Did just buy some Wolf Match Extra, so hopefully can try that out soon.

Do you have the competition model

No. Just the standard TX22. Oh and I’ve run Aguilla HV 40 gr through too. So far zero malfunctions after about 600 rounds.

I have a new, unfired Canik TP9SFX on classifieds if anyone is interested. Bought it on a whim, then tried a friends out and just did not do anything for me, but then again, most of my pistols I like are subcompacts.

I have a Canik tp9 elite sc. Can't speak for their other models, but mine functions flawlessly, I highly recommend them.
