Hello all,

I have been having a devil of a time locating .45 ACP ammo locally. Has anyone had any luck purchasing online? I have seen several sites, but you never know who to trust these days. Any suggestions on a safe, reliable online dealer? Thanks!!!

As for training ammo...ammo to go and ammoman are empty with the exception of some Wolf

Now...it's a bit of a drive from Westmoreland, but the Outpost on the other side of MBoro had plenty of training ammo in 45ACP....just wait until Sat to go..because I'm planning on going Friday and picking up 1000 rounds :-)

When you guys order online, you have to get it shipped to an FFL here locally right?

Nope, ammo can be shipped directly to your house, no FFL required.

UPDATE

The Outpost has PLENTY of .45ACP. Magtech 230 FMJ 1000 rounds 414.00 plus tax.

a bit high, but on gun-deals.com the next best deal I could find for .45ACP was Fiocchi from The Sportsmans Guide for $397.03. Georgia Arms is selling 1000 rounds of 230 grain reloads for 330.00 with a estimated 5 to 7 week delay...and I'm trying to stay away form GA, I like their stuff, but I've had too many bad rounds to use them for anything but informal plinking

OH...and I got to shake Ronnie Barretts hand today. After the stand he took against Calif. banning the 50s...to me that was a honor.

Interesting. I asked because I once called Natchezss and they said that they would have to ship to an FFL. Maybe that is because they are a TN based company though?:)

The walmart in Lebanon had plenty yesterday around 1:00 pm. They had WWB.

They also had Blazer, WWB in 9mm.

I think there's some reason Natchez can't directly to the buyer in TN, but I don't recall what it is.

I bought 2-250 packs of remmington UMC for $190 from Bass Pro Shop online. I'm pretty sure they were $95 each. I split shipping with a friend, but it was reasonable for the weight of the ammo.

I try to buy some stuff from them, they told me that they could not ship in the state of tenn, or north ga. I asked about local pick up. Got a big NO. Said that we can't do that eather. Something about cutting the price of local competition :tinfoil::usa:
