Us too in Lascassas. It was badly needed for sure. The trees we have been watering, but the grass we have not. I think the grass is happy now if it hasn't died.

We finally got a decent shower here as well. I haven’t mowed the yard in 3 weeks! It really don’t need it still, but I was also afraid I’d hit a rock and start a grass fire.😁

We got a lot at my house and we needed it badly. I haven't had to mow my front yard since June 8th. It's gone dormant and brown.

No rain here. Did everything but. Had one big cloud as black as the bottom of a stove lid. Vanished quick.

Yesterday afternoon the rain had the traffic at a halt on 440. We got some rain the end of last week, I mowed what needed mowing on Monday morning, but the rest can wait.

I was glad we had a few heavy showers before the 4th so the nitwits didn't burn everything to the ground.

I mowed yesterday and as I came around the house almost done with the trimming, the sky was black to the north. We got a frog stranger about 10 minutes after I finished.

I guess we in Hebbertsburg got everyone else's rain. 1.75" on Wed and Thursday, and a bit this evening. My lawn has turned greener pretty quickly.

People used to say if you didn’t get rain your not paying your preacher. Enough.    My grass is brown guess I need to step it up lol

Ha, I'd be in death valley if that was even partly true.

We got the first measurable rain in weeks yesterday here in Spring Hill. I haven't mowed in a month, and wont for a few more weeks I guess.  The non-stop heat and lack of rain is tough.

Went 3.5 weeks in June without a drop till we got .6" on July 2nd.

Can't wait to see my water bill from watering the veggie garden every day.

3" (!!!) in my rain gauge this morning from the night time downpour. Power was out from 2:48AM till 5AM.

I have a small creek running through my yard that had been down to a trickle, it's running normally now.
