South African Safari

My wife and I along with my childhood best friend and his wife recently returned from a 7 day Safari in Limpopo Province and all I can say is WoW! 

Purchased the hunt from a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation auction and was questioning whether we'd go or not but glad we did. 

Ended up setting up a stalk on a black impala that gave us the slip and.lead to me harvesting the Animal we were initially looking for, a nyala. 

Next morning I shot a wide impala off a water hole.

3rd.morning my wife was up and smacked a Sable at first light. Was her first bow kill. 

Our outfitter was fanfastic and the lodging and accommodations were spectacular. The food was bottom line some of the best wild game I have ever tasted in my life.

If anybody has ever thought about a Safari, I strongly recommend doing one. You will not regret it.

Was a great time. Was able to get the same hunt donated to our Nashville RMEF chapter as well that will be raffled/auctioned off on September 8th at our banquet.
