Ruger PC Carbine Receiver Aperture Sight

Has anyone researched or found a solution for a receiver mounted rear aperture sight that is compatible with the factory front sight, ie similar to M1 Carbine,  Ruger Mini 14 Setup?

I've searched the Ruger forum, and researched products from XS Sights and New England Custom guns. Also asked Ruger tech support with no help.

Thanks,

I've worked on this same problem, with no success.  Probably going to go for an optic of some type on mine.

So, let me get this straight, you're looking for a rear iron sight that will work on the rail in hand with the front post? Or one that is actually a mounted to the receiver and not the rail? Because I have a couple of ideas, one is simple and not that expensive, the other one involves a gunsmith who knows how to think outside the box and does custom jobs regularly.

Just saw your note. Looking for an aperture to attach to the rail on the receiver to use in conjunction with the factory front sight. The barrel mounted sight would be removed. Thanks,

I think Ruger knew best to put the entire iron sighting system on the barrel to avoid any sort of return to zero issues with the takedown feature of the rifle. Are you trying to avoid using electro-optics entirely?
