Saw that Vegas was 100 yesterday and will be 110 Thursday. At least I hope we do not hit that.

Yeah but their humidity is at 19% right now vs 54% in TN.

All these California people are in for a shock this week.

Maybe they’ll get the swamp ass so bad they'll realize the error of their ways and move on elsewhere.

Yeah it's hot,and it isn't even the end of July first part of August yet. But I'm comfortable here in the house drinking a beer, 67° in here.

Got my motorcycle out of the basement and I could look at the side of the tank and tell exactly how much gas was in it. It sweated like a glass of ice water outside.

I don't make that type of money to keep my house at 67.

Call me crazy but I enjoy the hot humid summer afternoons, just something about it.

I have to admit being Memphis raised I do miss 88 degrees and oppressive humidity at 9:30 pm...every once in a while.  But this is ridiculous for East Tennessee.

You’re crazy.

Everybody at work today was bitching about the heat and a few said, “I can’t believe it’s this hot.”  Ummmmm news flash, it’s Memphis, it does this every summer, at least the past 50 summers…

And the news doesn’t talk about the temperature any more.  Heat index sounds scarier I guess.

Yep, shaping up like a typical summer around here. Not quite 8:00am and I'm fixing to cut my grass before the heat really kicks in. Current temp is 82 with 76% humidity.

I spent most of my working career having to deal with all kinds of weather. Its good to be retired. 😉

I have to keep it cool, my wifes MS really flares up when it's hot out. It stays on 67-70 even in the winter time unless it's really cold outside. Once it cools down it pretty much stays like that in here as long as the blinds and curtains stay shut, plus the fans help out a lot.

Gotcha. I've got a customer that has MS and the heat bothers her too. Add in rain and it's almost unbearable for her.
