The Bracket Thread

It's time for the most non-productive work week of the year! Who here is doing NCAA tournament brackets? I don't even follow college hoops that much, but it really is fun to fill out a bracket and watch the results. When you have a vested (and monetary) interest it makes it that much more exciting.

I just finished my bracket. I've got Louisville, Memphis, Pittsburgh, and North Carolina in the Final Four, with the Memphis Tigers winning it all. Part of it is living here, I'd like to see them win, but I actually do think they have a team that's as good as, if not better, than last year.

Some notable upsets that I'm picking:

First round--

Arizona (12) over Utah (5)

USC (10) over Boston College (7)

Miss. State (13) over Washington (4)

Wisconsin (12) over Florida State (5)

Second round--

Wisconsin over Xavier (4)

Arizona State (6) over Syracuse (3).

UCLA (6) over Villanova (3)

Arizona State's my Cinderella. I've got them going to the Elite Eight.

This is the first year I haven't done a bracket in a while. For some reason I wasn't into college basketball at all this year, and didn't feel like following the tournament and checking to see who I still have, etc. But it's a cool time of year. It'll be interesting to see how well the SEC does this year, especially with only 3 teams getting in.

I about puked over Obama's bracket deal today. Nothing against basketball, but damn doesn't he have more important **** to do?

All in a days work:

1. Pass out billions to the banks

2. Get mad at them for paying bonuses

3. Say "Look" one thousand times

4. Make sure tail and horns are staying in place

5. Fill out NCAA bracket

6. Ban AR's

7. Get "Socialism Rules!" tattoo touched up
