Thank you for your welcoming replys. I purchased a Glock 36 from my brother-in-law.(Maybe sometime I will tell the whole story.) I have wanted a .45 cal. handgun for a very long time. My brother-in-law mentioned that he was wanting to sell his .45 and I spoke up, so, now I own it. At the time I had no real intent to carry, but now I am considering it more and more. I am taking some time to research different sites for self-defense and tactical training just to become better prepared. Knowledge is power.
