I'm curious what you mean when you say that they are registered?

I would assume that he means a completed kit that's been serialized and registered, and nothing that would go against any current regulations, or doesn't require one to go through the process of a class 3.

None of this makes any sense at all in relation to the laws in TN.

As of the current moment it isn't something one has to worry about here in Tennessee, but the ATF is redefining their terminology and what will go into effect come August could make some things that are within regulation as of today, no longer as such in the future. It's one of the reasons I'm not jumping on buying another AR pistol. If I'm incorrect in all this, then by all means, please remove my comments, but from what I've been reading and hearing recently is what I just described above.
