Reasonable gun transfer fees in Chattanooga?

Recommended Posts

Anybody know who has the best gun transfer fees in Chattanooga?  I regularly used Phil at Bellshire Hardware when I lived in Nashville, and I had no problems with him or his costs.  I expect there's probably a cooperative small shop here in Chattanooga that doesn't try to rape customers over transfer fees, but I haven't been able to find one yet, and I've identified a couple of out-of-town guns that need me to buy them.  Your recommendations appreciated.

Thanks,

They there, what are you finding?  They place i’ve been using in Hixon charges $30 for the first 2 and adds $10 each for certain quantities above that as I recall. Is been several months for me, hopefully hasn’t changed. Its not a gun shop. Use to be cheaper but the owner got married and his new wife recognized they were a bit under market.

Call Anthony’s Armory in Red Bank. Last I heard they had reasonable rates. Carter’s in Harrison was around $50 the last time I checked. Not sure about anyone else.

Does this business have a name?  I'd be interested in checking.

Anthony's Armory quotes transfers at $25 per serial number, plus the $10 NCIS fee, which is good for multiple purchases at one time.  Seems fair to me.
