My buddy at JUSTCAUSSE.com posed this to me:

Would you do me the favor of helping to frame a question, to our Senators, concerning a possible weapons ban?

It needs to be direct, probing and concise.

So now I come to you all here at TGO...what would you like to ask Senators Corker and Alexander?

1. Vote against the AW Ban

2. Tighten up on Immigration

3. Support the 2nd Amendment

4. Support our Veterans and Military

If not 1, 2, 3, and 4, then:

5. Resign

Oath of Office for U.S. Senators

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

As your oath of office states,

"I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;"

Do you intend to defend the 2nd Amendment by voting against ALL bills that would further infringe upon the rights that the 2nd Amendment states are our God given rights?

You have been elected to represent the citizens of the State of Tennessee. You are our first line of defense to preserve our rights to keep and bear arms. We expect you to fight ANY bills that come before you that infringe upon those rights.

AIG and other companies ar being investigated for wasting taxpayer money. Since assault weapons are rarly used in crimes according to the Bureau of Justice, wouldn't legislation on an AWB also be a waste of taxpayer money? In addition, Senator, why would you crush a thriving segment of the American economy only to give criminals an advantage over citizens?
