It's snowing pretty good here in the Memphis area.  I live in Bartlett and the ground was covered in just an hour.  Still coming down and not suppose to stop till later this evening.  Anybody else getting snow.

I drove home from 240/Millbranch and wanted to drink by the time I got home.  Everybody but me wanted to turn on their flashers and go 10 mph.

Waiting for it in Knoxville.  Supposed to start snowing here about 1:00 am tomorrow (Sat.).

I have a hard time believing it's going to stick. It was 65 here today. My phone is still showing 55 degrees at 2330.

Looks like its stopping here in Bartlett. Got about 2". It seems to vary a lot in this area. Local news at 10:00 showed some places locally with just an inch or two and other parts of Memphis  with 6".

Lots of blowing snow and wind in west Nashville as of right now. The streets were just wet a few hours ago, but they will probably get slick as temps drop overnight.

Here in Crab Orchard we have four or five inches on the ground, and it's still falling. 60's and sunny yesterday! Don't like the weather? Wait an hour.

We have about 3" piled up here in murvul. The roads are just wet. Hopefully the sun will come out as the temp continue to fall. Its 25 at the moment.

We have about 3-4" here in Lascassas TN. Lofton Road, in front of  our house, is wet but clear. Need to attend a funeral this afternoon and should not have any trouble, except for the cold. May not go.

Wilson County this morning. I'd say we got 2-3 inches.  Took Lily out to feed the chickens, ducks, and turkeys.  No one was interested in coming out of the coop, not even the ducks and they usually love this kind of weather. 0312220702a.thumb.jpg.8b07a06d0d11142de260de691c77119d.jpg

I'm in West Knoxville.

We lost power around 0600.

Ran the generator awhile,  made coffee and charged my phone.

Judging from the snow on the deck and railings we got around 4 inches and it's still snowing.  Very wet snow.  Beautiful though.

It's weird as I just cut the grass and did some yard work yesterday.

Coming from South Mississippi/ New Orleans area I  appreciate the variability of the seasons...just not so much daily seasonal change LOL

Just glad I don't have to be out in it.

Might be a good day to do some reloading.

I could not have been more wrong. This is the most snow I've seen in Knoxville in many years and still snowing. Measuring almost 7" on my back porch.

Just went out and measured the railing on the front deck and floor on the back deck. 5 inches.

The sun is trying to peek out now...so I guess I'll run the weedeater tomorrow... 😉

Power came back on a bit after 0930...but I'm still gonna reload today!

pic is thru my front door... it was cold out 🙂
